I will forever keep my child like wonder inside me
never shall we punish the dreams theyhave
whether they be estactic happy mad or sad
to puinsh one so young you shatter their will
and then a grudge inside their soul will fill
don't in anger say something you can't take back
or raise a hand to punish and starting to attack
cause this so shatters their vulnerable pride
just take deep breath count to 10,take it in stride
then sit down and Discuss what has made you so mad
they will then reply with we didnt mean to be bad
then tell them you love them with a big kiss and hug
and let your anger slowly dissolve and just shrug
on happier note always remember to reward good
seems no time for this but make some we should
and the reward from the child will forever be great
the smile you see will be better then the hate
never forget you too were one of God's precious gifts
and what happened to you forgiving will fill any rifts
love conquers all and that bad becomes good
