Dana Leewood is a singer songwriter that has written well over 100 songs. She has written and recorded 3 CDs of original music, and contributed material to 5 compilation CDs-- the proceeds of which went to charities. She performed at the Lilith Fair in 1997 along with Sheryl Crow, Sarah McLachlan, Martina McBride and the Dixie Chicks. In 1995, she was named Songwriter of the Year by the San Diego Songwriters Guild.
She is well known for her song “Angels All Around You,” a tribute song to her mother who died of cancer in 1991. If you have been in love, are in love, want to be in love, have experienced losses of love ones, cheaters, or you have a thing for a Pot Belly Pig, then Dana has written a song that you might want to hear.
She has a nationwide following and is very attached to her lildevilradio.net family. She is going to be working on her 4th CD with the hopes to hook up with some of her other Featured Artist friends whose music is played on the station, such as Kazmaniax and John Brace.
