Whether it's with their high energy, blow the roof off
rock show, or stripped down, intimate acoustic sets, Merrill has been
winning over legions of fans with their emotionally charged music since
2006.
The band consists of singer/songwriter/guitarist Chris
Merrill, lead guitarist Eli Johnson, bass player Robert Finn,
keyboardist Jeremy Dan, and drummer Michael Johnson, to bring you music
that manages a soulful past with a blend of rhythm and rock to form a
sound that transcends categories.
Merrill has opened for such acts as Maroon 5, Counting Crows, and Augustana. In addition, they were selected to play the 2007 BumbershootMusic Festival playing with such acts as Crowded House, The Shins, Gym Class Heroes, Danger Radio, and Panic at the Disco. And the band is blowing up the radio receiving regional airplay for their song "The One Thing".
Merrill
released their debut EP, "Evolutions" in September of 2008 and will be
following it with their first full length album, "A Beautiful Disaster"
in September 2009 which includes the hit single "The First Time".
Though the band is often touring, the group's roots are in Portland, Oregon.
