                                                Annie Abbot

Meet me and see my artwork every Saturday (7:30am-3:00pm) at the St. Lawrence Market.Whenever people ask me how long I've been painting, I always reply, "Ever since I could breathe." That is how passionate I am about my art. Despite the great physical effort it takes because of my physical disability, I cannot imagine ever giving up painting.
My art is unique because instead of using a paintbrush, I apply the paint directly to the canvas with my right index finger. I use this method because I have Cerebral Palsy and find using a brush to be an almost impossible task. I can honestly say I have never heard of any other artist, besides myself, using their finger as a paintbrush.
The name Annie's Dandy Note Cards and Artwork comes from my cat (and muse) Dandylion. As the name suggests, I also produce note cards. My note cards are simply smaller reproductions of my paintings. Over 100 designs to choose from, the note cards are printed on quality, recycled cardstock paper. I also sell prints from my original paintings, as well as keepsake boxes, stationery sets, and magnets. Very soon, I plan on producing t-shirts with my own designs on them.
If you have any questions about me or my artwork, please feel free to email me at dandynotecards@gmail.com  or write to Ms Anne Abbott
